Ani Zheku is an Associate at Sultan Lawyers.
Ani completed her Canadian Juris Doctor at University of Windsor Law School, and her American Juris Doctor at University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Ani obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Modern Languages and Literature from the University of Windsor, and a Master’s Degree in Translation Studies from York University. During this time, she worked as an interpreter for the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.
Ani works with employers and employees with respect to all aspects of employment law and workplace immigration matters including severance negotiations, wrongful/constructive dismissal, harassment, human rights claims, employment contracts, inter-jurisdictional employment matters, work permits, and workplace policies and compliance.
Before joining Sultan Lawyers, Ani articled at a full-service firm in Windsor, Ontario where she gained experience in employment, labour, litigation, and corporate law. In addition to her native Albanian, Ani also speaks French, Italian, and Spanish.
