Cynthia Cavanagh is a Paralegal at Sultan Lawyers.
Cynthia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo majoring in Legal Studies, with a minor in Sociology. She continued her education at Durham College and obtained her Paralegal Graduate Certification. Following her studies, Cynthia volunteered at the Access to Justice HUB – Legal Clinic and assisted in offering legal services to individuals of low-income.
As an asset to the firm, Cynthia is determined, efficient and maintains a client-first approach to her work. She is committed to growth and supporting clients through detail-oriented communication, and comprehensive strategy application.
Driven by a passion to support employers and employees navigate the field of immigration law, her foundational experience ranges from temporary to permanent residence matters, preparing applications such as: Labour Market Impact Assessments, work and study permits with accompanying family, temporary resident visas, overcoming inadmissibility issues, permanent residency , and spousal sponsorship. Cynthia further supports the firm in employment law matters, including cases of wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, workplace harassment, discrimination, human rights claims, and employment contracts.
Outside of the firm, Cynthia is an avid foodie who explores various restaurants and coffee shops. She also enjoys hiking, travelling, and teaching functional fitness part-time.
