Jonelle is a dynamic professional currently serving as the Legal and Intake Administrator at Sultan Lawyers. With over a decade of diverse experience in customer service across various fields, Jonelle brings a multifaceted perspective to her work in the legal industry.
Jonelle holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in English Literature and minored in Biomedical Ethics. Her academic background has provided a solid foundation for her career, equipping her with a keen analytical mind and a deep understanding of complex ethical issues.
Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Jonelle is deeply committed to social justice and advocacy. She is a dedicated member of the Canadian Bioethics Society and was selected to serve as the university representative for the University of Toronto in 2023. Jonelle’s passion for advocating for underrepresented groups is also evident in her strong support for Black women in law. Since 2017, she has been an active supporting member of the Black Female Lawyers Network (BFLN). Her involvement began when she was sponsored by the Justice of the Peace to attend the 2017 “Sistahs-In-Law” Convention, where she was the only undergraduate from the University of Toronto to attend.
Jonelle’s dedication to both her professional growth and the empowerment of others makes her a respected figure in the legal field, particularly for Black Women pursuing careers in law.
